  • Contract will be issued accordingly with legal requirements and legal entity of the hiring country

Job Purpose

To ensure an uninterrupted supply of quality facility management services & secondary packaging at optimum cost by:

  • Supporting the implementation of the Facility Management & Secondary Packaging procurement strategies
  • Leading and supporting tendering activities
  • Leading and supporting implementation of one Integrated Facility Management (IFM) provider per region/country
  • Leading and supporting the standardization and simplification of the Secondary Packaging (according to Amcor Catalogue)

To contribute to the standardization, simplification and optimization of the Facility Management services & Secondary Packaging across AFEMEA & ASC.

Categories that fall under the Facility Management Portfolio:

Cleaning services and consumables, Pest Control, Gardening, Catering, Reception, Security, Workwear& Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), maintenance, electrical services etc.

Categories that fall under the Secondary Packaging Portfolio:

Wooden Packaging, Cores (Paper, Plastic and Metal), Corrugated Packaging etc

Principal Accountabilities

Strategy Deployment

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of effective sourcing strategies for the Facility Management & Secondary Packaging categories in order to ensure quality of services and significant cost reductions

Results Achievement

  • Runs tenders or other commercial exercises, provides pricing/ offer, spend analysis in a timely manner as required while creating and maintaining accurate purchasing documents
  • Supports the Category Procurement Manager and leads the implementation of Integrated Facility Management (IFM) across the designated area in accordance with agreed roll-out schedule bringing savings and improving transparency and standardization of Facility Management services
  • Lead implementation of Secondary Packaging Amcor Catalogue for designated area in accordance with agreed roll-out schedule bringing savings and improving transparency and standardization of Secondary Packaging activity
  • Selects, validates and or decides on management approach for vendors with less valued purchases while considering legal aspects of contracts
  • Actively support continuous improvement of European procurement process and relevant IT solutions
  • Identifies, evaluates and develops performance indicators to monitor the suppliers’ performance for respective category
  • Investigate and analyse the market, new equipment’s, services and solutions available and seek new suppliers who may qualify to do business with Amcor
  • Ensures accurate reporting and follow up of savings planned and realized in the category
  • Contribute towards Purchasing excellence and customer satisfaction

Negotiation and contract management

  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers specifying quality, quantity, delivery schedules other KPIs, etc.
  • Manage the key suppliers and regularly review and monitor contract realization and delivery
  • Identify and resolve issues or escalate issues, if required
  • Ensure transparency in carrying out execution purchasing procedure
  • Identify improvements to supplier contracts

Relationship Management

  • Cooperates with other Amcor functions to assist with project’s scheduling, contracting, executing and consults other Amcor departments in order to identify purchasing needs and requirements
  • Define development strategies with identified partners
  • Solve any supply issues and communicate impact with relevant stakeholders
  • Provide support in preparation of necessary forms, records, reports and other documents

Qualifications/Requirements

Professional Experience

  • 3+ years of relevant working experience in Facility Management Procurement preferably on regional or European level
  • Experience of implementing Integrated Facility Management solutions or working experience in outsourcing/integrated facility management is required
  • Secondary Packaging procurement experience is an asset
  • Experience working in an international company with high complexity
  • University degree (preferably Masters degree in Supply Chain, Business, Economics etc)
  • Fluent English
  • Strong Command of MS Office
  • Professional accreditation is an asset
