As a member of the IDIADA group Body Development Team (SURF/CAD/CAE), you will be part of the Russia Body Design team, being involved in a new engineering development project in the automotive industry.

Reporting to the Project Technical Coordinator in Front Office, you will be responsible for leading the product and process development of Automotive parts, using CAD tools, PLM systems and reporting documents. You will be working on-site our Customer facilities being fully integrated to project development team.

It is a unique and challenging opportunity to be a key part of very important project from the early stages till the start of production, going throw all projects milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Handover from Development Geo team

– Physical reception Checking Fixture (Control Facility/Caliber) with check list on supplier premises: 3D inspection report analysis, physical reception, repeatability check, remarks.
– Validation CF with check list: reproducibility with OTOP parts
– Presentation POE with indicators, validation with LTL POE
– Request and analysis inspection reports and TAGs. Archivage in system
– Request and analysis Fiche Suivi conformite with action plan for NOK points POE+POI. Archivage in system
– Creation, update, sharing RdV reports on supplier premises. Archivage in system
– Participation in RdV parts on PUG in CRP or plant
– Preparation proposal for respecification NOK points POE
– Creation Fiches SAVI and SIMAP for serial life for POE
– Assistance to IDIADA front office team in ANPQP process and documents implementation.
– To validates the product/process feasibility of the design (mainly during Design convergence).
– To ensure consistency with the packaging, development of parts in compliance with the technical standards and propose optimizations
– Ensure that their company’s data is stored, managed and analyzed correctly.
– Official data releases in client PLM system.
– Support the IDIADA Front Office team in client official milestone documents preparation.
– BOM Management.
– According to the quality assurance process in project milestones: digitization, drawings, validation reports (REVS), ANPQP expectations, … until the compliance certificate is obtained for each par.
– Ensures compliance with data architecture and data management standards and procedures defined in the Data Management Framework.

Responsibilities:

– Propose structural improvements in terms of shape, material or thickness optimization, fixing solutions and parts layout

– Study and confirm the performance of the design according to the customers standards

– Manage part suppliers of your scope in the design and industrialization phase

– Assistance to IDIADA front office team in ANPQP process and documents implementation.

– Validate the product/process feasibility of the design (mainly during Design convergence).

– Ensure consistency with the packaging, development of parts in compliance with the technical

standards and propose optimizations

– Ensure that their company’s data is stored, managed and analyzed correctly.

– Products update and PLM: update in the PLM system of the client the information received from

IDIADA Office.

– Official data releases in client PLM system.

– Support the IDIADA Front Office team in client official milestone documents preparation.

– BOM Management.

– According to the quality assurance process in project milestones: digitization, drawings, validation reports (REVS), ANPQP expectations, … until the compliance certificate is obtained for each part.

– Ensures compliance with data architecture and data management standards and procedures

defined in the Data Management Framework.

Requirements

Requirements / Key skills:

  • Bachelor or Master University engineering degree, preferably with a Mechanical or Automotive specialization.
  • More than 5 years’ experience in Automotive parts development
  • Experience of quality ANPQP standards as applied to body development.
  • Experience working in engineering field with CATIA V5 software (Parts and units 3D + 2D drawings development)
  • Technical and practical knowledge working in at least one of the following automotive fields: Interior, Exterior plastic parts, Cockpit, Body, Closures, Function, Seats and lighting
  • Good understanding of the vehicle design, architecture and manufacture processes
  • Practical experience with plastic injection, tooling, stamping, assembly process and technologies
  • Vehicle integrator experience / DMU experience / BOM management
  • Fluency in written and oral in Russian and English.
