Career Talent Business Leader Philippines What can you expect? The company is currently seeking suitably qualified and experienced candidates to lead the Mercer Career Talent Business. . This position is responsible for leading the Career Talent Business for The Philippines and is accountable for the commercial outcomes, future strategy and growth of Mercer’s Talent solutions in the market including P&L management for the business. The role will also provide technical and business direction to the team as well as aiding broader business initiatives in the country. The successful candidate is a member of the Country Leadership Team and will contribute to driving Mercer’s future growth and success in the market. The Leader also works closely with the Career Business Leader International Region (based in Singapore). The role has overall responsibility for development and delivering Talent services and products to clients including Talent Strategy & Assessment, Engagement and Employee Experience, Mobility and Learning solutions. We require a leader with strong, visible and reputable leadership in the marketplace with the ability to win new business, as well as commercial acumen, technical proficiency in relevant areas, a deep understanding of the trends and opportunities for the business, and outstanding team leadership & management. We will count on you to: Contribute to overall growth of the business via contribution at the Country Leadership Team level through strong strategic leadership, collaboration and influence across the enterprise Be accountable for the delivery of P&L targets for Talent Build and deliver the strategy and growth aspirations for Talent, in line with the zone and global Career strategies Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Talent team Put client needs at the center of the Business, creating a forward looking vision Drive business change and performance improvement in Talent Work collaboratively, influence and lead other areas within Mercer to ensure solutions meet client and customer needs Drive revenue growth and meet/exceed team revenue targets through identification of emerging market opportunities and an effective go to market strategy Proactively manage client contracts to ensure profitable growth Work across Mercer and MMC companies to build opportunities to leverage incremental sales and revenue Ensure opportunities to leverage Global Business Solutions (GBS) and Multinational Client Group (MCG) services in the market are identified and prioritized Build a high performance team in the Business Line Build capability within the business in line with strategy and market opportunity Coach, guide and lead colleagues to profitably grow the business Visible and impactful leadership across the Mercer business What you need to have: At least 10 years’ progressive experience in leadership roles within the Human Capital Consulting space with a focus on delivering commercial outcomes through product and solution strategy and development. Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships to establish and drive a productive, growing business with clients as well as internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated ability to work in a complex environment Significant leadership experience in human capital businesses Proven record in business development, growing businesses, and growing market share. Proven P&L management experience Significant experience in Consulting – working as an opinion leader and “trusted adviser” with C-Suite clients. Relevant undergraduate qualification essential, with relevant post graduate and / or professional qualification being desirable. MBA qualifications are preferred What makes you stand out?
