Job summary

We are now looking for a Solution Architect that can work as local CSR (Customer Solution Responsible) in Japan, for the Ericsson IoT Connected Vehicle Solutions & Architecture unit. In this role, you will be coordinating the technical scope and face customers in technical discussions for Ericsson IoT Connected Vehicle. The role will primarily manage engagements with automotive companies (OEMs) in China, but engagements and projects outside Japan can also occur. The position is based in Tokyo area, Japan.

You will work closely together with the IoT and Connected Vehicle R&D, Sales, Portfolio and delivery team to help build and shape our deliveries according to the requirements of the future of connected vehicles.

We think that you are someone with experience from working directly with customers in Japan, and has following profile:


  • At least 5-10 years of proven experience of software solutions
  • Experience from customer interactions and technical coordination
  • Documented experience from solution scoping and technical analysis
  • People, networking and cooperation skills
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Technical understanding of cloud service development and deployment
  • Business understanding of IoT, Cloud Solutions, and/or Connected Vehicle domain
  • Domain experience and business understanding in some areas, such as: SaaS Delivery, Connected Vehicle Solutions, IoT, Telecom, Telematics Service Development, Solution architecture, Public Cloud Architecture
  • M. Sc or similar education background
