  • Support Customer Site Planning tasks under the guidance of local manager
  • Build up New Customer Fiber connection based on existing/new civil infrastructure
  • Build close relationships with Local Authorities and Private Building owner and Landlord
  • Network expansion project, feasibility and cost estimation
  • 3rd party coordination for Delivery & Maintenance purpose related to fibre&civil tasks
  • Flexibility to cover and manage activities in all Colt Cities in Italy (Milan, Turin, Rome and other Offnet Areas)
  • H&S Management (Dlgs 81/08)

Key accountabilities

  • Understanding of customer’s requirement
  • Understanding product and Services to select delivery requirement
  • Documents, records and updates details on Colt’s systems
  • Excellent teamwork
  • Keeps internal & external stakeholders fully up to date on implementation timescales and risks
  • Schedules and allocates work for engineers and collates feedback post-installation
  • Co-ordinates with 3rd party suppliers, including 3rd party contractors, as well as OLO providers
  • Provide support for Change Management projects
  • Management of Network diversion required by Authorities
  • Customer updates, reports & face to face meetings
  • Ensure Colt standards and quality are maintained at all times
  • Flexibility on travel to cover and manage activities in all Colt Cities in Italy (Milan, Turin, Rome, offnet Cities)

Skills /

Qualifications

  • Highly technical, with a detailed understanding of Colt network infrastructure, and the supporting / underlying technologies
  • Impressive communication skills are mandatory (written and verbal)
  • Must have fluent English written and verbal
  • Professional, self-reliant and motivated individual, adapt in a highly pressurised environment
  • Proven team worker in cross-functional tasks across all disciplines
  • Must have the ability to manage digging coordination, starting from requiring permission and manage all the related task to get approval
  • High level of attention to detail is imperative
  • Methodical and highly organised with the ability to prioritise
  • Basic knowledge of Fiber Network (Cable, Joints, Ducts, Manholes, ODF) and basic knowledge about Optical fundamentals
  • Stock Management fundamentals
  • Manage Quote, Purchasing and approval for Supplier activities

Experience

  • Technical experience of working on Private and Public infrastructures
  • H&S management for public & private area (Dlgs 81/08)
  • Experience of placing orders with, and managing suppliers desirable
  • Ability to utilize MS applications for development purposes (e.g., Excel, MS PowerPoint, Word, etc)
  • Knowledge and ability to use cartographic applications
