Key accountabilities:

  • Planning and engaging with senior members of the programme and wider Arms Safety and Control Group, Arms Transformation Project, District Support Group and Districts.
  • Actively participate in Wellness and Safety initiatives and training.
  • Assist with quality assurance of files, functions and processes to maintain a professional standard and high quality of work
  • Supports and implements project management best practice principles
  • Assist programme leads in escalating risks and issues, supported by proposed solutions
  • Ensure that all formal programme and project documentation is stored appropriately to meet Police and records security requirements, but is accessible to team members
  • Triage a range of requests from the team and manage and escalate to the Supervisor when required
  • When required assist Operations Manager with OIA requests and Parliamentary Questions.
  • Assist Operations Manager with Briefings to Police Minister and work with Ministerial services when required.
