Job description: Who are we?

We are KBC Group Risk, more specifically KBC Group Information Risk Management (IRM).
We are an international team whose mission is to enable, help and challenge all entities of the KBC Group in the way they handle their security, cyber and ICT-related risks.
We have to reasonable assure top management that these operational risks are under control.
Our job focus is primarily on Information Security, Cyber and IT-risks, but also on related areas as Group-wide incident and crisis management, business continuity, third party management and cloud technology.

What are your challenges with us?

  • Participation to the cyber intelligence cycle: information collection, analysis and dissemination.
  • Follow-up of the cyber threat landscape.
  • Identification of relevant cyber trends.
  • Building and maintaining trusted relationships, inside and outside KBC Group.
  • Offering advice on threat response plans and setup.
  • Incident & crisis management.
  • Defining and improving incident procedures.
  • Frequent reporting to key stakeholders.
  • Spreading security awareness and offering trainings/education to management and colleagues.
  • Actively supporting our international communities.

Profile & Education

The person we are looking for combines the qualities of a good communicator and an expert in the domains of Information Security, Cybercrime, and IT.

We encourage and actively support on-the-job training to expand expertise and to enhance job-related skills.
This vacancy is open to applicants with a university degree or relevant experience in ICT.

Security certification (CISSP, CISM, CISA) is a plus.

Relevant initial work experience is a plus.
