The position
Sales Manager for the Italian Market

Founder + Sales Director CEE and Italy

Main responsibilities

  • Find prospects and leads within the top Pharma companies in the market.
  • Investigate leads and find out as much as possible about them before contacting.
  • Attend meetings with potential customers and act as their consultant.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with doctors, as they will provide you with insight on the information and tools they need, that you can match with digital campaigns of our clients.
  • Understand all of the prospects’ needs, problems or wants.
  • Explain how our solutions align with their pain points.
  • Build a sales pipeline to ensure a constant stream of sales.
  • Follow up with customers and cross/up-sell products.
  • Learn and understand details about our products, services and sales strategy.
  • Prepare and present reports when needed.
  • Attend medical events and congresses.
  • Report to the management team.
  • Reports customer activity in the CRM system and ensures customer profiles are kept up-to-date.

Level

  • Quadro or Dirigente, it depends on the seniority of the professional

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or life sciences.

Professional skills
Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in the sales position.
  • Fluent in technology (CRM databases and MS Office).
  • Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
  • Experience in customer relationship management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Dedication to providing great customer service.
  • Having experiences and understanding of doing business with the Pharma industry.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Strong network among Italian branches of top global pharma companies, ideally at product manager level.
  • Having a good understanding of sales cycles and deal sizes within the Pharma industry.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of digital marketing services and products.
  • Exposure to project management principles.
  • Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player.

Language skills

  • Good command of English and Italian (native).
