Introduction

Dynamic Fluid Control, a local manufacturer of valves, has a unique and diversified portfolio of products catering for the mineral processing, power generation, water and affluent markets. We have a strong strategic approach towards active participation in global markets

The incumbent will be responsible for developing Rest of Africa (RoA) markets and providing solutions to customers while building DFC brands. This would be done through establishing and maintaining effective relationships both internally and externally, networking effectively to the benefit of the organisation, and supporting others to meet customer requirement.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Developing and executing the Rest of Africa Sales and Marketing strategy in line with the business strategy
  • Develop and Implement an Annual Business Plan for the Rest of Africa
  • Developing and Managing the Rest of Africa Sales and Marketing Budget
  • Providing direction and high level functional guidance to the Rest of Africa division in respect of market intelligence and the implementation of the marketing strategy
  • Identifying countries with high potential and appoint agents/distributors to sell our products
  • Manage distributors in line with DFC policies
  • Manage and Monitoring stock levels of appointed distributors
  • Reviewing tenders and negotiate contracts within the Rest of Africa territory
  • Conducting regular market assessment to quantify opportunities and uncovering new opportunities via primary and/or secondary research
  • Ensuring the prospect pipeline is regularly updated and accurate
  • Assisting in planning and coordinating industry related gatherings in the Rest of Africa
  • Compliance with Statutory Regulations and Company Policies and Procedures
  • Overseeing the creation of marketing collateral in brand building to raise our brand equity
  • Managing client relationships, surveys and perceptions

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Sales and Marketing qualification (IMM or equivalent) will be an advantage.
  • Valid Passport.
  • Valid Driver’s license.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 5 Years’ experience in Key Account Management; of which at least 2 years is from the valve industry.
