We’re on the search for a proactive and experienced Security Delivery manager to join our team, supporting our team in Australia.
About the role:
A Security Integration Engineer leads projects independently or as a part of a broader project team, often under pressure on multiple projects with tight schedules all with a polite professional etiquette.
A Security Integration Engineer will have the opportunity to work with the implementation of both new security services as well as established production environments, with the flexibility to accommodate integration in fitting with the requirements of each individual project.
During the course of a project, an Integration Engineer also educates customers on how to use their security services to ensure a successful MSS experience.
In summary, an Integration Engineer is a technical security integration expert, customer service specialist and often a project manager.

Required Technical Skills

  • In-depth understanding of Information Security practices
  • Network security architecture/design in small to medium network and business environments
  • Networking technologies and system integration and engineering concepts
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, and VPN technology
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with Unix / Linux operating systems, system admin level knowledge.
  • Moderate to Expert understanding of routers and general access control devices
  • Expert understanding of firewall concepts and technologies
  • Experience with working knowledge and understanding of IDS/IPS concepts and technologies (Both Host and Network based)
  • Additional knowledge and understanding of one or more of the following concepts and technologies a plus:

– Network based proxy concepts and technologies
– Vulnerability scanning concepts and technologies
– Email and Web security concepts and technologies
– (preferred) SIEM concepts and technologies * Experience working within a Managed Security Service Provider organization is a plus.

  • Understanding of Firewall Migrations across platform.

Practical/Applied experience

  • 2+ years’ experience with hands-on network troubleshooting
  • Experience with installing and/or managing three or more following technologies:
  • 3 years’ (4 years’ preferred) with Firewalls products: AT&T Vyatta, Check Point R75+, Cisco ASA 9+, Fortinet, Juniper SRX and Palo Alto
  • 2 years’ (preferred) with IDS/IPS (host and network) products: IBM Proventia, Cisco, McAfee and /or TrendMicro
  • 1 year (preferred) with Blue Coat ProxySG, AV, and Reporter
  • 1 year (preferred) with Proofpoint email and web security services
  • 1 year (preferred) with Cloud environments (IBM, AWS, Azure, Google)
