Joining Grundfos, you will be part of a journey full of ambitions reaching our strategic Group 2025 goals. We are looking into new technology and new applications in our products and overall, we are completely transforming how we work with a focus on how we transfer our goals and values from top management to each employee.
Based in Bjerringbro in Denmark, you will lead a highly skilled industry sales team of 5 external sales people. You will also become part of our Nordic management team of 7 in total, where we set strategies, evaluate and debate.
Leadership with a focus on growing, developing and winning
As our new sales manager, your primary responsibility is to lead the external industry sales team in Denmark towards delivering on the sales growth and profitability targets. While keeping a keen eye on the pipeline, it is also vital that your focus is on great people management and growing both your team’s competences and motivation.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Support, motivate, energise, challenge and develop the sales team to maximise the sales effort and effectiveness
- Participate in onsite customer co-visits with your team members for coaching and motivation
- Drive the yearly pricing policy and ensure implementation and adherence in the team
- Drive correct utilisation of pipeline, order intake, sales, profitability, cost and collections and mange to the agreed budget
- Review and negotiate substantial orders, framework agreements and rebates

Motivational leadership and great stakeholder management skills
With an inspiring personality and empathetic nature, you have great people skills combined with a motivation for leading a team. Also, you have a commercial mindset and the ability to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at many different levels, both internally, externally and across borders.
We furthermore imagine that you have:
- A degree in business and/or engineering
- Great sales experience and perhaps also previous leadership experience, though this is not a must
- Experience from a large and international company and an industrial background
- English proficiency
