Senior Business Development Manager Western Switzerland (m/f/d)

As a Senior Business Development Manager you play a critical role in growth strategy!

You will be an integral player in building and strengthening a quality scalable demand generation framework focused on the acquisition of new projects and targeted pursuits.

Key objectives:

· Business Development and Demand Generation

· Win large projects and accounts

· Influence at decision making level primarily Consultants and End-Users

· Develop and manage a strong network of consultants in his territory for priority verticals

Job activities:

· Grow the business and achieve his specification quota

· Acquisition and growth of Specifier and End-User (identification, coaching, development)

· Systematic identification and qualification of large projects in selected verticals

· Develop a collaborative approach with specifiers and end-users to influence and win large projects.

· Secure that Honeywell products, services and brands are specified in the projects (including x-selling with other Honeywell divisions like Fire, Security)

· Become an outcome oriented and trusted solution advisor for the influencers

· Involve appropriate internal specialists (Sol. Architects, ASEs, OMs)

· Structure the vertical market development in his territory

· Value selling

· Cooperate with marcom for the development of contents and campaigns

We expect:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or equivalent curricula/experience)

· Fluent in French and English (German is an advantage)

· Strong and Goal oriented worker

· Excellent communication skills

· High level of autonomy and self-motivation in growing the business

· Proven experience in automation projects (specification, execution) or in infrastructure or in SaaS projects

· Solution minded approach to customers’ expectations and challenges

· Innovative and comprehensive approach to desired customer’s outcome

· Strategic mindset to develop market and verticals

· Experienced or strongly motivated for new technologies (Software, IT, Networks, Cloud, SaaS, …)

· Structured and systematic at project level

· Teamwork oriented, principally with local sales teams, ASE, DGs and Offering Management

· Fluent in reporting activities and progresses into corporate tools (NEX) and for management meetings

Territory: Western Switzerland – French speaking regions
