To provide analytical / commercial / Information support to Sr. Financial Controller & Omasco Senior Management team, contribute to performance reviews / operational decision making and improvement plans in meeting the company profitability & financial objectives. Support growth and strategy.
Annual plans and Rolling Forecast
a) Support Sr. Financial Controller in preparation of annual plans and periodical reviews (quarterly and monthly rolling forecast).
b) Liaisoning with Head of Division for preparation of Sales and Gross margin Budget / Forecast and setting up annual operational Budget KPI’s
c) Monthly updates of IFRP, BPC and other information reporting to Automotive Group Finance and Group Finance.
d) Preparation of Yearly and Quarterly budget presentation.
e) Cashflow forecast
MIS and Management reporting:
(a) Preparation of monthly management reports and presentation for management board.
(b) Reporting and analysis for each Omasco Division and brands, strong focus on KPI’s
(c) Support Sr. Financial Controller in divisional performance reviews and variance analysis.
(d) Co-ordinate and support Finance team in GL review and accounting related issues.
(e) Preparation of accounts in compliance with IFRS and IAS
(f) Coordinating with auditor for finalisation of annual accounts.
Working Capital and Cashflow
(a) Review and advise Sr. Financial Controller in all aspects of working capital planning by analyzing historical data and validating underlying assumptions
(b) Analysis and reporting of Divisional working capital and cashflow impact.
Principal Support / Duty Drawback and Factor
a) Maintaining and reconciling Principal support account with HOD’s and suppliers
b) Tracking recovery of duty draw back on export transactions
c) Reviewing reconciling Factors (expense provision for Goods receipt) by Division
(a) Provide analytical support to Sr. Financial Controller in evaluating divisional pricing strategies.
(b) Support in preparing monthly Honda Car price list (CBU)
(c) Liaisoning with Product Manager and review of new Car order planning.
(d) Support new car sales admin team for setting up campaign pricing and mapping GL’s
(e) To support and advise Sr. Financial Controller in capex and project evaluation and prepare feasibility reports.
System and process Development
(a)Advice and support Sr. Financial Controller and Head of Business in system and process development for new initiatives and existing process improvements.
(b)SAP Hyper User and a key project member in the proposed implementation IS Auto, SAP BO & BW
The job entails analytical and information support to business units in achieving the financial and profitability objectives. The job holder coordinates with the Sr. Financial Controller and Head of Division in delivering the above objectives. The jobholder will liaise and support Finance team on a continuous and daily basis in interpreting the financial records and ensuring accuracy within the management information systems.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant / CPA / CMA
5 / 8 years similar experience, preferably worked with big4 Audit firm / Automotive background
Job-Specific Skills: Strong accounting knowledge, practical Knowledge of IFRS and International Accounting Standards, analytical, advanced systems skills in particular Advance MS Excel, Power Point, SAP, ability to manage and understand a large, complex, multi branded business, good communication skills and team player, ability to work independently.
Behavioural Competencies: able to plan & prioritise tasks; initiative; self starter; strong team player, positive can-do attitude, easy to reach out, go extra mile to support management team.
