Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing Samsung group accounts? Do you have the business savvy and the technical background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider?

As the team manager for the Samsung customer segment for AWS Korea, your responsibilities will include building and executing the Samsung segment business strategy to drive cloud adoption and market penetration, growing the business through helping customers innovate their business and IT environment, and managing a team to build long-term business and marketing opportunities.

The ideal candidate will possess a business/sales background that enables them to lead a team to engage at all levels of a customer and partner organization, including C-level.

He/She will also demonstrate a broad understanding of the IT landscape and cloud computing. He/she should be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against business objectives. He/she should have a track record of building innovative and strategic approaches and initiatives to achieve business objectives and customer success.
Roles & Responsibilities:
· Lead and manage a team of account managers.
· Develop and execute against a comprehensive account/territory plan.
· Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
· Accelerate customer adoption.
· Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts at the C-level.
· Work closely with the Partner team to ensure that AWS is the partner’s preferred cloud computing platform across all service lines.
· Maintain an accurate forecast and various business reports.
· Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services.
· Possess the technical understanding to explain (not implement) Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc).
· Prepare and give business strategies and reviews to the senior management team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 15+ years of technology related account planning and management experience.
· BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required
· Direct field experience in working with enterprise accounts.
· Strong verbal and written communications skills in English.
· Extensive customer network.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience leading disruptive technology adoption early in the adoption curve.
· Experience with cloud services business.
· Experience with outsourced services.
· A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus.
