We are a global team of disruptors, trailblazers, innovators and risk-takers who are helping drive economic growth in even the most remote parts of the world, creatively moving the industry forward, and doing meaningful work that brings financial literacy and digital commerce to millions of unbanked and underserved consumers.**You’re** an Individual. **We’re** the team for you. **Together**, let’s transform the way the world pays.**Job Description and Responsibilities**The Products & Innovation Director position has the responsibility to expand Visa’s Products, Solutions and Innovation strategy within traditional and non-traditional clients, along with leading in country product development and management responsibilities. **Responsibilities**The candidate should develop and support the overall country Product vision, business plans and strategic roadmap to address the successful implementation of core and digital payment products and technologies in partnership with key internal functional leads including sales account executives, client services, marketing, risk, consulting, etc.Responsible for product management including leadership of cross-functional and/or cross-regional teams to develop new programs and manage existing programs to grow penetration/ activation/ usage of Visa products and services.Provide Visa Products vision, advice and guidance to clients and as a project coordinator, facilitate products implementations, engaging internal and external resources, resolving issues, ensuring delivery of the project on time and on budget.Leadership with clients and partners in Peru starting with early-stage consultation to understand the partner’s needs and agreeing on scope and timelines and then managing multiple teams within Visa to develop and implement the agreed product or solution. The role-holder will have end-to-end engagement accountability for the Visa Product agenda in the country.Nurture creativity, innovation and the aptitude to think creatively and identify new ways to innovate and differentiate products with evidence of tangible business resultsThe role is responsible to understand client needs, pain points and opportunities to develop and execute new offerings that plug into Visa platforms and make use of the adequate products, VAS and emerging payments technologies such as tokenization, push payments and/or alternative form factors, e.g. NFC and/or QR codes.Collaborate with other local and hub Visa teams, to identify and deliver to clients the best industry practices, benchmark data and success examples from other markets as/when required for the project.Build strong working relationships with clients and management; ensure a seamless client experience and a high level of satisfaction with the project implementation and delivered resultsPrioritize across multiple work streams, highlighting plan, risks and dependencies to identify new business opportunities with clients and partners; promoting collaboration, co-creation and co-development initiatives with regional and local fintechs, merchants, governments, etc..Develop presentations and facilitate update meetings with the senior leadership team, and actively manage organizational expectations regarding follow-up of success metrics, product infrastructure readiness, gaps and necessary interventions.Plan and execute the country products budget and resources to perform all required metrics, duties and objectives**Qualifications**· Requires a minimum of 10 years’ experience and strong knowledge in electronic payment products services and innovation· Ability to work under pressure of tight deadlines and frequent changes· A track record working cross functionally and delivering measurable result, while managing stakeholders throughout the process· Excellent Project Management skills and Customer and Process Improvement experience· Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written and presentation in Spanish and English· Possess a high level of professionalism and leadership skills to build business relationships, trust and respect with business partners and suppliers· Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently at coordinating cross functional activities, obtain buy-in and elevate issues at critical junctures appropriately· Understanding of the process of product innovation.· Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to a broad audience in an approachable way· Manage and understand financial business cases and revenue streams**Additional Information**Universal acceptance for everyone, everywhere, is not only our brand promise, it’s the foundation of our company culture.
